Owner Rick Snook grew up in the Brainerd lakes area and now lives 3 miles west of Zimmerman. He served 21 years in the military and is a retired veteran. His love of firearms started in the military and continues to this day when he gets together with his military friends and hunts water fowl up north or prairie dogs out west in North Dakota.

Opening the gun shop in Zimmerman has been another goal attained, but why stop there. Rick has dreams of opening an indoor shooting range so that people have a place to practice all year long. The range would be open to the public for anyone to come and shoot, familiarize themselves with firearms, and get parts and customize their guns.
